Phase 4

When the universe was empty there was one being, The Creator.  After drifting around in search of life they had an epiphany, why search for life when he could create it? The Engine needed a soul to power it. The Creator knew this and decided to commit the ultimate sacrifice in order to create life. In order to keep the Genesis Engine running, representatives from each planet are chosen to compete in a tournament. The tournament takes place inside the Genesis Engine as it generates a stage that mimics a section of experience taken from the minds of the champions as they lived on their planet. The stage changes based on who enters the tournament.

Meet the Phases:

Mustard - Gas Cat

In their youth, they were known to sneak around shops taking items and then returning them while asking if they were ever detected. This bothered many shopkeepers who were unaware of their antics and lead to Mustard having a reputation as a troublemaker. As more time went on, people became sick of their antics, and Mustard was eventually shunned from the community leading them to seek bigger challenges.

Aria - Fountain Sprite 

The fountain sprite Aria grew up with aspirations of being the finest warrior that the liquid creatures ever developed to proudly represent their nation on the battlefields. Born and raised in the crystal blue waters of the Aquamarine Abyss, she is proficient at combat. Her skills are rooted in manipulating water elements to create whirlpools, vortexes, and rapid tidal waves to launch extensive attacks against enemies, dealing severe damage. She resides within a mysterious sanctuary, watching over the world with vigilance and preserving harmony and balance. 

Stoic - Rock Crab

Having long ago ascended to the status of a Hyyakuta (master fighter), his claws honed to perfection and his mind a repository of ancient knowledge passed down through the countless battles he had endured. Once, he had walked alongside a dear friend, a fellow warrior whose bravery forged their bond in the crucible of battle. However, in a fateful battle, cruel and capricious, Stoic's friend fell. The loss cut deep, leaving a wound in Stoic's heart that refused to heal. Haunted by grief and consumed by rage, Stoic embarked on a quest for vengeance, fueled by the memory of his fallen friend and the injustice that had been wrought upon him.

Surge - Plasma Axolotl

Surge always believed he was destined for something more. He is the 12th son of the Stellar-born Emperor, Corona. He was born a runt within his family and was always targeted from assassins to his other siblings as a grab of power. He would watch from the shadows as his older siblings challenged each other to move up places within the lineage, but would bide his time and waited for them to be at their weakest. When he came of age to actually act upon his birthright, if ever given the chance, he decided to challenge the traditions set before him and enter his father’s personal tournament in order to become a champion for plasma. His siblings outraged and shocked that such a weak link to their bloodline would do this, all entered into the tournament as well; equally to win glory and to beat down their brother.
