Nicholas Fisher - Playtest Results_Pre-Alpha Build


Hey all!
Just gonna compile the playtest results from the pre-alpha to ensure that everything listed gets fixed by the next build.

Global:

  • Need Accept and Decline Buttons that are in the style of the game.

Pause:

  • Need quit to Mission Select
  • Continue and Save buttons don’t do anything.

Intro:

  • Postmaster needs have the updated border asset added.
  • A button to advance the text would be appreciated.

Mission Select:

  • Need to add the One, Two, and Three Star difficulty markers

Cutscenes:

  • Could be extended to meet the edges of the screen.

Packing:

  • Borders aren’t perfect. Better, cause you can no longer go outside them, but could probably be extended a little on the left side.
  • You can just hold down and win - it doesn’t check if you go above the top border and gives you the win no matter what.

Asteroids:

  • Softlocked - Time hit 0, but game would move on to the next minigame
  • Hit 0 lives and wouldn’t die - stuck in an endless loop of exploding
