Nicholas Fisher: Devlog - Updated Character Sprites
Hello everyone!
I am writing this to inform you all of some updates that I have made regarding the game's character art assets over the past few weeks. The first major item of note is that, in addition to some minor shading fixes, all of the previous character portraits have had the initial placeholder border replaced with one that is more reminiscent of those found throughout the rest of the game. Additionally, assets for three new characters have been created based on requests I received from each member of the writing team - these being the "Seahorse", "Geode", and "Slime" aliens seen in the attached images. Beyond that, I have spent the past few days working on the full-body sprite for the Postmaster as requested by the animation team. There is currently only one sprite, which I was told can be animated using whatever software the animation team is currently using. However, as a precaution, I have saved the file for the program I use to make these sprites and can easily make more animation frames if needed.
