Brianna Lee Devlog - 03.24.23


Throughout this process, there have been many changes regarding the mini-game that I have been working on. Before Spring Break, the idea of the mini-game was to have a drag-and-drop puzzle, but this changed due to the number of bugs that still needed to be resolved. Multiple people on the team looked at the issue, but a solution needed to be considered. As a result, the idea of the mini-game has changed to a Tetris-based puzzle game.

During Spring Break, my role was to work on the new mini-game after the first version had been scrapped. I needed to get as much done as possible because the other mini-games were close to completion, and scrapping the mini-game had thrown me off course. Despite scrapping the mini-game being the best decision, it took work. During this time, there was significant progress. Once the break was over, any bug that I had could be looked at by my team. However, tensions were high during this meeting of looking at my work; bugs and errors were fixed before the demo without a hitch.
