Animation Updates
Hey everyone!
For the past few weeks I have been working on updating and improving the player animations. For the walking animations, I have been working on redrawing the legs and arms for the player so they can be broken up into multiple pieces allowing me to bend his legs and arms. I also redrew the player’s feet so they are flat instead of the slanted view they were in before that made him look like he was on his tiptoes. I’ve also been making several versions of each of the walking animations so there will be a visible difference when the player equips/un-equips the hammer weapon.

For the attack animations, they have been completely redesigned. The original plan was to have 3 different attack types for the player to use that each did a different amount of damage. For now, we are only focusing on the swing attack type for the hammer. Each of the attack animations consist of three frames to keep them quick while also making it clear that the hammer is swinging. I have been redrawing the hammer as well as the players hands for each frame so they have taken me a little longer to do.
There are still a few more animations for the player I am working on but I am hoping to have them all done soon!
