Inventory Menu Updates
This past week for the latest version of the game I went through and updated the Inventory menu.
Here is an example of the original Inventory menu I drew up. The icons on the left side represented all the items the play can story in their inventory. The action of clicking on an item will open up a description below to give greater detail on the item. The objects can be dragged over to the right and equipped onto the player. The stats on the lower left of the screen will update based on what item was attached to the player.
This is the digital mock up of the inventory. The color is closer to the armor of the player, so there is some thematic continuity. The main difference is that the player image is the oblique view, instead of the top-down view from the previous drawing.
And Here is the implementation of the inventory menu in the game. There have been some minor updates from the original drawing, but most of the basic organization has stayed the same.
