For the last week few, I've been assigned to be the team's item designer. I worked with my group to figure out some new and cool item concepts for our game Here are some of the items I've designed,

Snow Boots

While dashing player leaves a small ice path that enemies can get frozen on

Phantom Cloak

+2 Dash speed

After dashing the player goes invisible for a few seconds

Auto Parry Shield (Name in the title)- Forward facing shield that blocks projectiles and has the chance to parry back

Oil Slick

As the player dashes, it leaves a trail of oil that slows enemies. If a player shoots the trail, it begins to burst up into flames.

Snake Oil

Increases range 

The Lone ranger

Makes  the player able to shoot 360 dual-wield pistols

Gambler’s Choice- 

A huge stat up for a huge stat down (randomized)

The Gold Dabloom- gets a certain amount of coins

The Spanish Inquisition- A random chance to have the Spanish inquisition help you clear a room per floor

Molotov Cocktail

College Degree- Increases the player’s lowest stats

Red Shoes- Speed Upgrade and coins are worth 2-5x more, however, if the player gets hit, they drop their coins. (There would be a less amount of coins due to this)

Skeleton Key- Unlimited Keys 

Third Eye- Let the player see the items within the chest prior to opening.
