Andrew Mallach Devlog #1
Over this past week, our design team has been hard at work to build a fleshed out foundation for our new game, Whispering Abyss. We started up our Game Design Document, which will be frequently updated throughout the development time, documenting new features, mechanics, etc. when they are implemented into the game. I also have been doing more research on other rouge-like games in order to get a better idea of how we want our game to function. The game I think would be the best for our team to try and emulate would be Hades, as we are trying to achieve similar movement techniques and combat abilities. This week, we will be continuing to flesh out our GDD, and start the first steps of building levels with ProBuilder.
