Developing the Dialogue System (Amy)


Hi, everyone!  I'm Amy Moczydlowski, an engineer on the City of Abominations team.  Today I'd like to talk a bit about the dialogue system I've been developing for the game.  I've spent the last week creating the framework so that our narrative designers and artists can easily add text and portraits, respectively, for each of the different characters that appears in the game.

It's still rough, of course, and some things may be subject to change, but I'm excited to share what I've done so far.  Have a look!
