Werewolf Form - Design Post (Eric)


Greetings again from Eric and the System Design Team at Precipice Games. We are here to briefly present the Werewolf Form in City of Abominations.

The Protagonist, Skylar, is able to transform into Werewolf Form when either the bloodlust meter gets filled or when the player chooses to. Skylar gains Bloodlust when damage is taken, and passively over time. Once the bloodlust meter is full, Skylar automatically transforms into Werewolf Form. Unlike Shadow Form, the Werewolf Form allows Skylar to attack enemies, but this attack is only melee range. The melee attacks have a slower animation, but higher damage output. This has a karmic impact on how civilians interact with Skylar.

As Skylar turns into Werewolf Form, there is an area of effect (AOE) bubble that deals damage to enemies, but instantly kills civilians.
